Run to Breathe 5k - Cairo, MO

May 3, 2015 ~ On a quest to complete 15 5k's in 2015 my friend Roni found one in Cairo, MO. At the time we signed up it sounded fun but running at 2:00 PM on a hot day was in fact brutal but we aren't quitters!

This is Cairo's 2nd Annual Run to Breathe 5k will benefit the Gateway Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Although it was hot it was still for a great cause!

This is a video that Chuck Hamblin uploaded from this event. Kind of fun to see everyone supporting this cause and having fun! (If I remember correctly he had his GoPro camera and a loud speaker with music that kept you motivated along the way!) Thanks Chuck for a great video! 

 It was hot and we had to dig deep but you know what... we did it!
