Chamber of Commerce Small Business Week 2015

May 4-8, 2015 ~ This week is the Columbia Chamber of Commerce Small Business Week. Each year the Chamber of Commerce takes nominations of Small Businesses that are members of the Chamber to choose 5 finalists. During this week those 5 finalists will hold a seminar to talk about their business and on Friday May 8th at an awards luncheon they will announce the 2015 Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year.

We kick off this week with a ribbon cutting with our Chamber Ambassadors! 

The first seminar was TrueSon Exteriors:

"Explore The Possibilities With TrueSon Exteriors" Come visit an actual job site displaying various products TrueSon Exteriors has to offer. Roofing, siding, decking, screened/covered decks and more. Try your hand at an install of siding or roofing at one of our interactive stations, maybe you fill find your calling! 

The second seminar was Manor Roofing and Restoration:

 The third seminar was Buchroeders:

Come visit to learn little known facts about the diamond industry, tour our newly renovated facility, and try on extraordinary one-of-a-kind treasures.

 The fourth seminar was Plaza Dental:

"Healthy Smile, Healthy You: The Importance of Oral Health" Join the Plaza Dental Group to learn about the multiple ways that taking care of your oral health can impact your overall health, as well as the many exciting areas of dentistry that can give you a brighter more confident smile. Guests will get a behind the scenes glimpse of the different specialty areas of our practice and how they collaborate to improve dental care for our patients. Visit the various informational stations about hygiene, implant dentistry, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry and oral surgery. 

 The last and final seminar this week is Kilgore's Respiratory Center:

"Snoring Is No Joke" Does anyone you know snore so loud it keeps you awake? Have you ever said "they snore like a freight train" or "sounds like a chain saw when they sleep"? Then come visit with the staff at Kilgore's Respiratory Services and get more information why snoring left untreated can be serious. 

 On Friday May 8, 2015 at the awards luncheon we recognized the 2015 Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year recipient, Plaza Dental as well as the 2015 Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year Finalists, Buchroeder's, Kilgore's Respiratory Center, Manor Roofing and Restoration and TrueSon Exteriors.

A huge congratulations to each of these awesome companies that are located in Columbia, MO! You have worked extremely hard to get to where you are today and it's great to be recognized for this accomplishment. Never ever give up on your dreams and keep moving forward because you are going to do big things in the future!
