September - Keeping Up With A Goal!

September 30, 2015~ In an effort to keep pushing myself to becoming more active I signed up for a 100 mile challenge for the month of September from I love to Run. I have pushed forward when I really want to sit down and although I am not running I am walking and trying to motivate others (when many times those other people end up motivating me) I took off 3 days to go on a quick mini vacation with my hubby and mother-in-law, helped get my cousin all married off and went on a Central Missouri Honor Flight (missing several days of walking). Although my actual walking totals only equal 93.75 I certainly exceeded 100 miles throughout the month. My goal next month is to exceed this 100 miles and make up for what I am lacking this month. Point is that I created a goal, reached as hard as I could and fell short. Am I disappointed... not at all! I have made a conscious effort to do better and I am happy with my results however I won't give up just yet! You have to be honest with yourself and realize you are one person and can only do so much in the course of a day. Keep on keepin' on......
