Bubba's Truck - An Old 4-Wheel Drive

March 30, 2014 ~ Remember my last post I talked about Brandon going and getting an old truck? Well here she is! We've had our share of old lifted up pick up trucks but this one is going to be fun! Our days of muddin' are done because you tear too much stuff up and it's no fun when you have to pay to fix it verses your parents.

It's in pretty good shape for being a 1985 model and he found this ol' girl at a price he couldn't pass up (yes it does run) and Brandon can't wait to start fixin' it up! 

It has power windows and locks but the drivers window won't go up all the way... nothing a trash bag won't cover! 

Yes she even has a bullet hole in the bed... Can't help but think of the Hank Williams Jr. song....

This is going to be a fun project to work on and our new "date truck" for cruisin' gravel roads!

Amazing how you get more excited over an old truck then the new ones... don't get me wrong it's nice to have all the features of the new ones but nothing (at least for us) makes you smile like climbing in this ol' girl and going for a ride!
